Building for the future - the Future for Building

Seventeen research institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft form the Fraunhofer Building Innovation Alliance. With 22 locations in Germany, the United States and Italy and a total research budget of approx. € 240 million an effective research pool in the field of „construction“ has been created.

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft offers a central contact partner for integral system solutions in the field of construction for the first time. The extensive portfolio addresses small and medium-sized enterprises. The Fraunhofer Building Innovation Alliance sees itself as indicator and initiator of new and innovative topics in the field of building research.

All customer inquiries are centrally collected at the office at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics in Holzkirchen and forwarded to the respective member institutes.
