The aim of the project is the development of a high-performance beech hybrid element for modern wooden construction. The element is planned for use as a ceiling element and can thereby bridge a span of 10 meters under normal loads in residential and commercial construction. Furthermore, all requirements concerning multi-story buildings as regards sound insulation and fire protection shall be complied with. One component of the hybrid element is an innovative mineral material which is to be developed within the project, whilst the other component consists of a hybrid wood-based material.
