R&D Center II on Shanghai’s BASF Innovation Campus is the first ever DGNB pilot project for laboratory facilities executed in China. The four-to-five-story research building is the result of a holistic planning process developed in and for China and was awarded DGNB Pre-Certification (Silver) in January 2016. Principal project targets were the comfort of the work environment, efficiency and flexibility of the technical fit-out as well as wheelchair accessibility and the quality of social areas.
