German Enterprise Centre

The German Enterprise Center in Qingdao was the largest and also the first mixed-use building awarded DGNB Gold Pre-Certification in China. The complex, which stands on a gross floor space of 75,384 m², is now in the process of DGNB Certification. Sustainable power generation is provided by a combination of photovoltaic, solar and ground-heat energy systems, with district co-generation, installed on the various roofs of the building, which achieves energy savings of 45% versus a comparable Chinese building.
